Who we are
Element 121 Ltd is a digital growth agency registered in England and Wales. We operate the website element121.co.uk and are the data controller for any personal information collected through it.
If you have any questions about how we handle your data, contact us at hello@element121.co.uk.
What data we collect and why
We keep this to the minimum needed to run the business.
Contact form submissions
When you use the "Start a conversation" form on our site, we collect your name, email address, phone number if you provide it, and the message you submit. This is processed by Formspree (a third-party form service) and emailed directly to us. After a successful submission, we also send the lead details into Google Tag Manager for conversion measurement. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and understand which marketing activity generated the enquiry.
Lawful basis: Legitimate interest — responding to a business enquiry you have initiated.
Direct email
If you email us directly at hello@element121.co.uk, we process your email address and any personal information you include in the message to respond to you. We use Google Workspace for email.
Lawful basis: Legitimate interest.
Server and security logs
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect technical data such as IP addresses, request timestamps, and browser type for security and performance purposes. This is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
Lawful basis: Legitimate interest — maintaining the security and performance of our website.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We do not build visitor profiles for resale. We use Google Tag Manager to manage conversion measurement, and any analytics or advertising tags configured through it should be limited to understanding site performance and enquiry sources.
Third parties we use
The following third-party services process data on our behalf:
- Formspree — form submission handling. Formspree privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security. Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Google Tag Manager — conversion event and tag management. Google privacy policy.
- Google Workspace — email. Google privacy policy.
None of these third parties are authorised to use your personal data for their own marketing purposes.
How long we keep your data
Enquiry emails are retained in our inbox for as long as the business relationship is active, or up to two years after our last meaningful contact, whichever is sooner. After that point, they are permanently deleted.
If you become a client, we will retain relevant correspondence and project records for six years in line with standard UK business accounting requirements.
